About Us

Starting in 2022 Hope with Horsepower has been motivated to bring awareness in northeast Pennsylvania to mental health and aid the local community in suicide prevention. The charity officially received its 501(c)3 in 2023 and plans to continue growing each year with the help of the surrounding area.

The original event of the annual Car Show has brought in people from all over and donations made, have surpassed $10,000 for the Northeast Chapter of Pennsylvania for American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

It was no accident the event surrounds the automotive industry as a good amount of the woman on the board are either integrated themselves into the culture or their partners are. The stigma that clings to mental health is very much so seen in the male demographics and this is a major priority when meshing our event with the car loving community. Bringing together generations of auto enthusiasts to one spot that not only gives the opportunity for recourses but it show everyone who attends the mass support surrounding everyone effected.
